Praised for her "fantastically free, gorgeous lyric sound", Ruby Skilbeck won the Kathleen Ferrier Society Bursary Prize in 2024. She has performed as a soloist at leading UK venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall, with broadcast appearances on BBC Radio and Songs of Praise. She is a former Young Chorister of the Year (2021) and finalist in the Dorothy Richardson English Song Prize (2025). Ruby is a third-year undergraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Marie Vassiliou and Benjamin Mead.
